Book Review The Sea Witch by Alexander Laing and David Laing

The Sea WitchThe Sea Witch by Alexander Laing

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

All aboard the clipper and set sail on an adventure of a lifetime

I really appreciate the editing that was done to this book, being a fan of Maritime themed novels, it helped me to understand more about the plot and story line.

This is a story about tough sailors, men at sea who risk their lives travelling from port to port. Without giving anything away, I want to comment that Captain Roger is a man of many facets, which we will discover in this book. The details of the trade processes and finances involved were so vivid and educating. And the love story heartwarming.

This book is a must read for those who love sea fare tales and for those who are looking for a high-quality English literature narrative that let’s be honest, is hard to come by these days.
